Sketch Journal 10:
initial concept for viewing tower.

The initial concept of my toy, Hijikata Toshiro's viewing tower is 'sharp'.
Therefore, I used a triangle which have sharp edges as the main element for the tower.
First, I tried overlapping the triangles on top of each other. The triangles should be able to rotate 360 degrees so that my toy can have a whole view over the area. But it's hard for my character to rotate the platforms himself.
Next, I tried putting the triangles vertically in front of each other arranged in a line from a small triangle up to the biggest one. The increasing in height is to show his high-up position as the vice-commander in the police force.
Lastly, my concept is to put several sharp edges components in a random manner to show the original 'sharp' concept which is to make others don't dare to approach.

Sketch Journal 08:
proposed location for toy's viewing tower.

I drew a few perspectives of where my toy will be located on the site my group chose.
My tower will be located on the stone wall in the middle of the site. On the stone wall, my toy will be able to look over the lake and also have a wide view around the area. Besides that, the stone wall is quite high compare to the deck besides the lake and hence, my toy will have better view from the top as well.

Sketch Journal 07:
ideas of viewing tower for my toy character.

My chosen character is Hijikata Toshiro from the anime, Gintama.
Based on his characteristics, I came out with an idea for his viewing tower::
These 3 ideas are the very first idea I came up with.
It was inspired by elements I found on the site.
Unfortunately, it was unrelated to my toy or my site.
Then, I tried designing his viewing tower based on his characteristics.
Again, it was rejected because all of my designs were too literal.
After that, I tried doing something different but it turns out to be still too literal and also unrelated to my toy.
Last, idea. I suddenly thought of doing something 'sharp' as it represents my character's cold exterior which made others to not dare to approach him. I tried sketching things that is related to 'sharp' and i chose SWORD.

Sketch Journal 06:
site plan, plan, section, elevation
We were given a floor plan and an elevation of a house.
We need to rescale both the plan and elevation to a scale of 1:75.
Both the pictures below are the product after rescaling:

This one is done using pencil.
This one is done using felt pen specified using line weights.

Before that we were taught about line weights and also different type of lines.
These are a few sketches of it::

Tutorial: Scale & Perspective
We were taught how to use scale ruler by Ms. Norma.
She gave us a small paper which is the one below:
We were asked to rescale the above plans to a scale of 1:25.
After we had rescale everything, we need to also come up with the left view of the structure.
Below is the picture after rescaled::
Not only that, we learnt how to draw one-point perspective as well.
I did a simple one::
